1.Login to your WordPress Panel navigate to your STMP plugin, currently you can install GoSTMP - PRO through Softaculous

If you use a separate email service like Google Workspace (Gmail) for your email, WordPress still needs a way to send emails from your site. By default, WordPress uses the PHP mail() function, which can cause delivery issues.

Using SMTP with your external email service (like Gmail’s SMTP/IMAP servers) allows WordPress to send emails through your email account. In other words, SMTP connects your WordPress site to your external email service, so all outgoing emails are properly sent and recognized by the provider. If you are using our email service, we recommend contacting our support team to check if there are any ongoing issues.

2.Here you will see a lot of settings. For this example, we will use common settings with IMAP.

There are two options you can enable depending on your needs:
  • Force From Email
  • Force From Name

3.After selecting IMAP, you will see additional settings.

This process is similar to logging into a third-party app like Google or Outlook, but here it will only connect your email for sending messages.

Make sure to fill out the form with the correct username, password, and SMTP host; otherwise, the plugin will not work.
