How to update DNS Nameservers at Bluehost?
After purchasing our hosting account, you will receive a welcome email message from us. It will contain our nameservers, and you will need to update your domain nameservers to ours.
If your domain is registered on
Bluehost.com, you should follow this tutorial to update the Nameservers of your Domain to our Nameservers.
First of all, you need to log into your Bluehost account.
If you use Bluerock account:
1. Click the
Domains tab from the side navigation menu to the left.
2. Next to the domain name you want to update, click the ▼ icon next to Manage, then choose DNS from the drop-down menu that appears.
3. Select the
DNS tab.
4. In the
Name Servers section, click the
Edit button.
5. For
Setup Type, select the
Custom Nameservers toggle, and enter the nameservers (which have been received with a welcome email letter from us) for your account.
6. Click the
Save button to save changes when finished.
If you use Legacy account:
1. Click the
Domains tab from the navigation menu at the top of the screen.

2. Scroll down to the
Domain Management boxes towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
3. Make sure that the correct domain has a checkmark next to it, in the "please select a domain" (bottom left) box.
4. Click the
name servers tab in the "domain summary" (bottom right) box.
5. Select the
Use Custom Nameservers toggle, and enter the nameservers (which have been received with a welcome email letter from us) for your account.
6. Click the
save nameserver settings button to save changes when finished.
